Well, today I start typing out my thoughts on a Blog for the first time. Yes, this is a new venture for me but something I should have been doing for a long time.
I hope to maybe pass some thought provoking lines on to you my readers and give a hand up in this things called life.
This life can be very up and down as I have found out the hard way in the last year as I walked down many roads I never thought I would walk at this time of my life. But God is good and everything will be like it should be, in His (God's) will.
After an accident this week I was wondering and asking why, the scripture, that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28), rocketed through my mind. I begin to spend some time on the two qualification for all things working together for good. I must love God and do His purpose.
I must make sure my love for God is not a self-centered love, but a true relationship with Jesus at the center of my life.
Secondly I need to make sure that the direction of my life is after His purpose and call for me.
I have spent much time reviewing these and taking a long hard look at my personal walk with God. Why you may ask, simply, I want all my life to work together for good. When it all shakes out at the end it has to be right.
If I do this as my living intersects with life and my Faith is touching my living, life will be worth walking through and all things will work out just fine.

As Horatio Spafford penned in 1873,
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul."

It must be well with my soul.
